Today Celebrates: Baby Day and Brothers and Sisters Day!

Lunch for today includes: Spaghetti and Meat Sauce with Garlic Toast, Chicken Patty Sandwich, Steamed Broccoli, Steamed Mixed Vegetables, Pineapple Tidbits, and Milk.

Class of 2023! That means you seniors! Senior superlative voting is NOW OPEN, and will remain open until 11:59 p.m. Friday, May 5th. Votes must be submitted using the Microsoft form posted in the DNN Senior News course on Schoology. Please vote for two classmates in each category. The results will be published in the 2023 Seahawk yearbook. Vote, Vote, Vote!

Also seniors, continue sending in those baby photos for the graduation video. Submit ONE baby photo to [email protected] between now and May 19th. Make sure you include your first AND last name in the subject line. You will receive a reply email confirming your submission. If you have a hard copy of a photo, you can bring it in to Mr. Thompson to be scanned and returned, just make sure your full name is written on the back of the photo.

Attention Class of 2024 NHS Members: We will have a general meeting on Friday, May 5th after school in the auditorium. The meeting will last until approximately 3:15. Following the meeting, we will vote on officers. Please mark your calendars now for our May 5th meeting.

Attention Students! If you were unable to attend the WeXL Banquet and would like your certificate, please stop by guidance no later than Tuesday May 2nd to write your name on the list. We will get the award to you. If you haven’t written your name down by the end of the day on Tuesday, we will no longer be giving the awards out.

There will be no After School Academy Spanish Tutoring TODAY. We will have Spanish tutoring on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

There will be an FCA meeting this ThursdaY, May 4th in D-151 at 7:15, Mr. Drahiem’s room. See Mrs. Fenzel-Mergott if you have any questions. All are welcome.

All underclassmen members of NEHS will meet in B1072 after school on Thursday, May 4. Please be prompt. Dismissal at 3:15 if all material is covered. NEHS underclassmen meet in B1072B Thursday at 2:45.

For Sports:

Do you want to become a Decatur cheerleader? Come out to our Decatur Cheer Clinic on June 10 starting at 9:00 am and running until 4:00 pm. You will learn and work on Stunting, Jumps, Tumbling, Cheer, and Dance. The cheer clinic is for any current and future Seahawk cheerleader, ages from 5 years old to 18 years old. The registration fee is $30 for SDHS students and $45 for non-students. If you have any questions, please see Coach Johnson in C129.
