The Hawk

Jenna Miller-Staff Writer
Junior Jenna Miller is new to The Hawk writing staff this semester, but is thrilled to be a part of the team.  She has loved writing her entire life and hopes that throughout the semester she improves her skills and learns how to effectively communicate her ideas.  She is also excited to learn from her peers and contribute to the production of a reliable news outlet for the school.

Miller has also been a member of the Decatur theater department for two semesters, both acting on stage and assisting with the technical aspects of production.  Her love for English and liberal arts drives her to step outside her comfort zone and join programs that allow her to speak her mind, which she hopes to do in this class.

She is also enrolled in AP U.S. History, which will help her to further improve her writing. Miller looks forward to becoming a better writer, and gaining confidence in sharing her ideas.
