Today Celebrates: World Turtle Day and Lucky Penny Day!

Lunch for today includes: Hot Dog on Bun, Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza Lunch Kit, Baked Beans, Chilled Mixed Fruit, and Milk.

The National English Honor Society will meet TODAY for all sophomore and junior members. Please see Mrs. Terlizzi if you cannot attend. Again, all NEHS juniors and new members meet after school TODAY. The meeting will last until 3:45 or 4:00. Make ride arrangements accordingly.

There will be a brief Relay For Life Team meeting after school TODAY in the DNN Studio. We will take our yearbook photo and discuss the June 25th Relay event. Please see Mr. Thompson with any questions.

The Decatur Film Society will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, May 24th to view the film Project X. Members, you MUST see Mr. Thompson for a permission slip if you plan on attending. Additionally, there will be no after school transportation available, so you must secure your own ride home. See Mr. Thompson with questions.

First semester marching band and band front students. Here’s a reminder of the Memorial Day parade practice we are having this Friday, May 27th, during period 5. Teachers there will be a memo placed in your mailboxes of who will be attending either today or tomorrow. That’s ALL marching band and colorguard members. You are to report to Mr. Foell’s classroom, this Friday, May 27th, during 5th period class for the Berlin memorial Day parade practice.

For Sports:

A huge congratulations goes out to the Varsity Softball team for their 7 to 0 win over Franklin in the State Quarterfinals. The team showed impressive skill throughout the game, with a home run hit by Chloe Candeloro while Skylar Griffin threw a no-hitter, securing their place in the State Semi-Finals! Way to go team!
