Today Celebrates: International Tiara Day and National Escargot Day!

Lunch for today includes: Baked Chicken Chunks, Cheese Max Sticks and Marinara Sauce, Sweet Potato Tots, Chilled Applesauce, Roll, and Milk.

The Decatur Film Society will meet after school TODAY to view the film Project X. Members, you MUST have a signed permission slip if you plan on attending. Additionally, there will be no after school transportation available, so you must secure your own ride home. See Mr. Thompson with questions.

Attention all students: If you are a rising junior or senior and you are in jeopardy of failing a required course, you may be eligible to participate in the Summer Academy Credit Recovery Program. See Mrs. Berquist or your counselor for information. Ms. Redden is A through K and Mrs. Riley is L through Z. Don’t get behind in your credits. Instead, stay on track for graduation.

Attention Juniors! It’s time to save the dates for your Senior Portraits! Prestige Portraits will be at Decatur August 1st through 4th for portraits. Information packets will be mailed home this summer, so make sure your mailing information is up to date at school by May 31st. See Mr. Thompson with questions.

The Decatur Book Club will meet next Thursday to conclude our discussion on The Handmaid’s Tale. This will be our last meeting of the year, so come ready to discussion and bring those book ideas for next year! See Mr. Thompson with any questions.

First semester marching band and band front students. Here’s a reminder of the Memorial Day parade practice we are having this Friday, May 27th, during period 5. Teachers there will be a memo placed in your mailboxes of who will be attending either today or tomorrow. That’s ALL marching band and colorguard members. You are to report to Mr. Foell’s classroom, this Friday, May 27th, during 5th period class for the Berlin memorial Day parade practice.

At 7:00 PM Varsity Softball battles Chopticon in the State Semifinals – dismissal at 1:45.
