Today Celebrates: National Hot Tea Day and National Pharmacist Day!

Lunch for today includes: Teriyaki Chicken with Brown Rice, Max Pizza Sticks, Mandarin Oranges, Fresh Fruit, California Vegetable Blend, Steamed Carrots, and Milk.

PROMise is back again to host their 8th annual prom gown giveaway at Parkside High School in Salisbury. The PROMise Project is a non-profit organization that provides dresses for girls across the Eastern Shore. This event will feature more than one thousand prom gowns ranging in sizes 0 to 26.

All gowns have been donated to the non-profit organization throughout the years by various local retail shops. The event is free and open to all Delmarva high school students. Students must present a valid high school ID for admittance to the event. The event will start at 10:00 am and will end at 2:00 pm. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Johnson in room C-129.

Members of Spinebreakers, if you missed the gathering Monday but are interested in joining in on the discussion of Feed, make sure you see Mr. Thompson in-between classes or during 5th period to complete the survey and obtain a copy of the novel.

Did you know that Decatur offers a variety of courses besides your core academic classes? Estefani Hernandez, Maddy Kolasa, and Dakierra Godwin got an in-depth look into one of the many electives offered. (Roll Family Child Care 2:39). Check in with your guidance counselor for the many course offerings at Decatur.

Decatur Nation! The end of the semester is approaching! Schedule an appointment with the Seahawk Writing Center to obtain assistance with your essays and other written work! Scan the QR code around the school to schedule a half-hour session with a writing tutor. End the semester on a high note! 30 minutes can change your tune, and grade!

Tonight is the night! At 6:00 pm, our undefeated Girls’ Basketball team will be fighting the undefeated Parkside Rams, and the winner will take the number one spot in the Bayside South. Pack the Hawks’ Nest tonight for our Seahawks!
