Arguably the most anticipated movie release of early 2019 was “Captain Marvel.” The superhero is featured in many Marvel Comics accompanying other well-known characters, such as Nick Fury, Phil Coulson, and Talos. Due to her powerful presence in the comics, it has been predicted for decades that this figure would be showcased on the big screen.

The “Captain Marvel” release date was March 8, and as expected, had an exceptional turnout due to an effective ad campaign and the Avengers: Infinity War” movie, which grossed over 2 billion dollars at the worldwide box office.

The movie proved to be a box office sensation earning 455 million dollars during the opening weekend. This number earned them a spot in the record books as the sixth biggest opening weekend in the history of movies on a worldwide basis.

The film received viewers of all ages and made this comedic inspiring movie a great way to spend a night with family. The movie involves the most powerful woman superhero, Captain Marvel, and her adventures. She attempts to re-acquire her memories while finding herself in the process. Brie Larson, the actress playing Captain Marvel, shined throughout the movie and contributed to many satisfactory reviews.

Captain Marvel was formally a regular human being native to the United States and served as a United States Air Force pilot. Due to a deadly crash during a topsecret mission, she gained unnatural powers and did not reach her full potential until the end of the movie.

“Captain Marvel” lived up to the expectations of almost every viewer, and even exceeded some individuals’ predictions. The movie received a well-earned eighty percent rating, and sixty percent of those who watched it thoroughly enjoyed it based on a “Rotten Tomatoes” review. Audiences can look forward to additional Marvel productions to come.
