Thank you to all who participated in the ColorCycle program. Over 50 pounds of spent markers were sent back to Crayola to be repurposed. Crayola used advanced plastic conversion technologies to make wax compounds for asphalt and roofing shingles as well as to generate electricity that can be used to heat homes, cook food, and power vehicles. That’s 50 less pounds of markers in our landfills. Way to go Decatur!

Decatur Nation! You have less than one month to order your copy of the 2020 Seahawk Yearbook for only 75 dollars! On February 1st, the price increases once again to 90 dollars, so order now and save 15 dollars! Visit to order.

Any Junior interested in planning and executing Prom 2020 is invited to the first Prom Committee meeting held TODAY, January 8th at 2:50 in Ms. Gallelo’s room C-135.
