Due to testing, the Media Center will only be open before and after school TODAY, January 16. A kiosk will be set up outside the Media Center’s back doors for checkouts, laptop issues, and printing.

Are you ready for first semester finals?! A good breakfast is essential for cognitive success. NEHS is hosting a pencil and pastry fundraiser. Pick up a last minute supply like a pencil for scantrons and a breakfast item for brain power. Stop by the concessions stand the Thursday and Friday of finals to pick up a muffin, breakfast sandwich, or a cup of coffee. Pencil and Pastries, January 23rd and 24th!

If you enjoy writing or are working on the next best seller, then come out to the Creative Writing Cafe. Held everything Thursday, the Creative Writing Cafe is a place to spend time writing while also working with peers to develop your ideas. This drop in style gathering is open to all and our next meeting will take place TODAY, after school in the DNN studio.

Have a sweet tooth? The Leo Club will be holding another bake sale after school TODAY and Friday. All items will be 50 cents. Remember to bring your money and come hungry!

For Sports:

Any girls interested in playing softball this spring. There will be winter workouts every Monday and Thursday from 3:30 until 5:00pm. If you did not get the flyer see Coach Kurtz or pick up a flyer in the front office.

This weekend, SDHS will be hosting the War On The Shore wrestling tournament. The tournament begins Friday afternoon. Please be advised, the cost is $15 for a single day, $20 for a weekend pass. Sports passes are not accepted. Again, no sports passes or season passes will be accepted for the wrestling tournament this weekend.
