Today Celebrates: Caregiver Appreciation Day, National Anthem Day, and Super Tuesday!

Lunch for today includes: Pizza, Shrimp Poppers with Mac and Cheese, Steamed Green Beans, Chilled Mixed Fruit, Roll, and Milk.

Media expo entries and judging sheets may be picked up in the Media Center.

The winter session of the After School Academy ends on Thursday, March 12th. After that time, after school transportation will not be available until the spring session begins following spring break. Please plan accordingly.

Class of 2020! Jostens will be at school TODAY during all lunches to deliver graduation announcements. If you have a balance due, Jostens will be accepting cash, check, or money orders. Cap and gown orders will also be accepted. Please pick up a copy of the cap and gown order form in the office if you have not already done so. Jostens will also be taking ring orders for all classes TODAY if you are interested in ordering a class ring.

Seniors! Next Monday, March 9th, Lifetouch will be here to capture Cap and Gown Pictures. A full list of appointments is posted outside the media center and the DNN Studio. Please see Mr. Thompson with any questions.

It’s also that time of year seniors when we collect baby pictures for the graduation video. Please email photos to [email protected] with your name in the subject line, or drop off hard copies to the DNN studio with your name on the back. These photos will be scanned and returned to you. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Thompson.

Any junior who missed the meeting on Monday should see Mrs. Wells in the Curriculum Office to pick up paperwork for a FREE ACT Administration on April 4th. Limited spots are available, so be sure to see her as soon as possible.

Attention Academic Team members. We will have one more practice on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00pm in Senora Sawyer’s room. This is our LAST practice before our tournament on Friday. Please be present and bring your signed permission slips.

Decatur Nation! All this week, we will be participating in the Sandy Hook Promise of Say Something Week. Make sure you stop by the table in the cafeteria to sign a pledge card, a signed card enters you in a drawing for a prize. And if you see or hear something, say something!

Students! Turn in your scheduling sheet to the guidance office ASAP! That means TODAY! We need all sheets turned in so that we can start the next step of scheduling. If you are holding on to if because you have questions, please bring it to guidance and ask your questions. We NEED ALL scheduling sheets to return to guidance. Also, any student wanting to drive to Wor-Wic for Dual Enrollment in the fall, first semester of next year, you must apply to Wor-Wic online and come by guidance to pick up a Dual Enrollment packet.

Calling all pizza and pie lovers! Come to the Pi Day celebration on March 10th starting at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. It’s only one dollar to enter. Sign up for team and individual pie eating contests outside of room A129, Mrs. Ebelein’s room. Its $20 per team of four and $5 per individual. There will be food games, and you could be the one to pie an administrator.

Hungry for some Chipotle? Support the Decatur Relay For Life Team by eating at Chipotle in West Ocean City TONIGHT from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Show a photo of the flyers around school or let the cashier know you are there for the Relay For Life Fundraiser. Eat some delicious food while helping the fight against cancer!
