The iconic Ocean City, Md. boardwalk hosted a procession of approximately 290 vehicles containing graduating seniors from the Stephen Decatur High School’s class of 2020 on May 27. The seniors were able to ride with their families on the boards to celebrate their milestone and enjoy teachers, administrators, family members, friends and visitors waiving and wishing them well along the way to the end of the procession where they were photographed receiving their diploma jacket.
This senior class has experienced a few historical events these past few months that have caused their senior year to be different than any others before them. Due to the Covid-19 virus many ceremonies were made into virtual events, but the one ceremony that celebrates their completion of 13 years of school and signals the next step into their future was unique and memorable.
