Today Celebrates: Thesaurus Day and Winnie the Pooh Day!

Lunch for today includes: Baked Popcorn Chicken, Pizza Sub, Baked Beans, Chilled Peaches, and Milk.

Students, please remember to check your Schoology each day, especially when out sick or on quarantine. It is up to you to maintain any missed work while out, so do not wait until you return to ask for work. We are in this together, and always reach out to your teachers if and when needed.

All Media Expo projects must be submitted online by 3:00 pm, TODAY, January 18th. Additionally, due to testing the library media center will be closed 2nd and 4th period today.

Students, if you would like to write a message to Mr. Mundrick’s family to describe the impact Mr. Mundrick had on you or on the community, please give them to Mr. Hill no later than Friday, January 21st so the letters can reach the family.

For Sports:

A big congrats goes out to our girls basketball team with their 68 to 62 victory over South bayside rival Parkside last Thursday night. This moves the girls to 8 and 0 on the season. Shelby Rosemond had 9 points, Sam Boger chipped in 14, and Senior Captain Nadia Bullock put the team on her back and dropped 34 points!! Way to go Decatur!!

Congratulations to the Seahawk wrestling team which finished in 4th place out of 17 teams from 6 states. The team placed a record 12 wrestlers in the top 8 and Noah Reho won the championship. The seahawks have not had a champion since 2018. The coaches want to especially thank all the student volunteers who helped this weekend. The team also wrestles at home tonight at 5pm. Come out and support them!

At 5:00 PM Wrestling battles Colonel Richardson at home
