Today Celebrates: National Popcorn Day and National Tin Can Day!

Lunch for today includes: Sweet and Sour Meatballs, Italian Cold Cut Sub, Brown Rice, Steamed Broccoli, Fresh Orange, and Milk.

Students, if you would like to write a message to Mr. Mundrick’s family to describe the impact Mr. Mundrick had on you or on the community, please give them to Mr. Hill no later than Friday, January 21st so the letters can reach the family.

There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting this Thursday, January 20 at 7:10 AM in the cafeteria. See Ms. Fluty or Mrs. Fenzel-Mergott if you have any questions. All are welcome!

The Decatur Book Club will meet today in the DNN studio, to discuss up to pages 160 in the novel The Marrow Thieves. We cannot wait to see you there for discussion!

For Sports:

Congrats to the Decatur Girls Basketball team on their win at Snow Hill by a score of 52 to 25. The team was led by Nadia Bullock’s 20 points followed by Shelby Rosemond’s 14 and Sam Boger’s 11 it was another great team win for the Lady Seahawks!!

The Stephen Decatur wrestling team improved to 12 and 1 on the season by defeating Colonel Richardson by a perfect 84 to 0 score. The Seahawk wrestlers go on the road today against Kent Island who is undefeated in the bayside – Wrestlers going on the road today need to be dismissed at 1:15 – Good Luck Seahawks.

At 4:30 PM Boys JV Basketball takes on Snow Hill at home

At 5:00 PM Wrestling competes at Kent Island – dismissal at 1:15
