The Hawk

Brianna Watts-Chief Editor
Senior Brianna Watts has always felt led to write. As a child, reading was always her go-to, spending hours poured over books. Even now, she finds enjoyment in great literature. She was invited to join Newspaper her sophomore year, but unfortunately was unable to participate during her junior year.

However, as a member of "The Hawk" this year, she is excited and determined to put her writing skills to work. Brianna has taken all required English classes and enjoyed them thoroughly.  She is a member of various extracurricular clubs; such as Relay for Life and Key Club, and is a member of the National Honor Society. In her last year at Decatur, Brianna is taking Newspaper production for both semesters.

She wants to bring a lot to the wonderful production team. As Co-Chief Editor, she plans to make every article a great one! Some other things to know about Brianna: she plans on attending university, and then pursuing either forensic science or journalism. She’s not completely set on her future plans, as many seniors may be, but she hopes this year will be an eye-opening one.
