Lydia Woodley
Junior Lydia Woodley is new to The Hawk staff after taking Introduction to Publications during her sophomore year and is thrilled to join the staff for this fall semester. 

Lydia is very involved with the school, as Key Club Vice President, Leo Club Historian, a Student Government Delegate, National English Honors Society Technical Liaison and Writing Center Liaison.  

Over the summer Lydia interned at the local newspaper, OC Today, and wrote three articles for the paper. She also volunteered at the Freeman Stage in Delaware. 

Lydia has received several writing awards in the past, which include first place for the Optimist Club Essay Contest in 2018 and third place in 2019. She also was Woman of Tomorrow in 2016. She placed third in the Optimist Club Oratorical Contest on the club level and won the American Legion Essay contest twice.
