Mikayla Cantine-Staff Writer
Junior Mikayla Cantine is a first-time journalist taking on the experience of writing different articles for The Hawk.

This year, Mikayla has been working on achieving her Girl Scout Gold Award, as well as competing in Skills USA. Aside from Girl Scouts and being President of Skills USA, Mikayla is involved in many other clubs including Key Club, Connections, Youth Group, and serving as Treasurer for United as One.

After high school, Mikayla plans to use her skills acquired from The Hawk, and other projects she has accomplished, to prepare herself for medical school. Writing has always been a passion for Cantine, so she believes this experience will really enhance her writing skills for the future.
