Mourlas got the opportunity to be inducted into the National English Honor Society, after being accepted her freshman year. This year she is working on completing one hundred hours of service learning to receive the Presidential Award and is looking to apply for National Honor Society in the upcoming months.
Mourlas immensely enjoys writing, but specifically sports and student life articles. Kaitlyn is involved in other school activities such as Leo Club, Future Educators of America, Prom Committee, and the varsity tennis team.
She has a true passion for journalism and hopes to pursue it as a full-time career.
