Today Celebrates: Dumbstruck Day, Everything You Think is Wrong Day, and the Ides of March!

Lunch for today includes: Beef Soft Taco, Chicken Patty Sandwich, Steamed Brussel Sprouts, Steamed Carrots, Mandarin Oranges, Fresh Fruit, and Milk.

Save the date class of 2023! Lifetouch will be at school next Wednesday, March 22nd to capture the senior panoramic shortly after 8:00 a.m. in the gym. A few morning tech buses will be held so don’t miss out on this tradition, be here by 8:00 am on March 22nd. See Mr. Thompson with any questions.

There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting this Thursday and every Thursday until spring break beginning at 7:15 in Mr. Drahiem’s room, D-153. See Ms. Fluty or Mrs. Fenzel-Mergott if you have any questions. All are welcome!

Memories are made when your family and friends can watch you perform! We are in need of members, no try outs necessary! If you have already submitted your course selections, you can send your school counselor an e-mail or just stop by guidance. Sign up today to be a member of the SDHS Marching Band and Colorguard. No tryouts needed!!

This is a friendly reminder that course selections are due this Friday, March 17th. Please enter your selections into Schoology and turn ALL Worcester Tech forms in to the guidance office.

WANTED: NEHS MEMBERS! Do you love English? Do you like organizing and participating in SDHS community service events? National ENGLISH Honor Society may be for you! Applications for membership in NEHS are now available from any English teacher or use the QR code on signs around the school. All applications must be completed and handed in by March 24th by 3 pm.

NEHS is sponsoring the 10th annual Peggy Hevel Memorial Writing Competition. Entry forms are available at the media center or from any English teacher. CASH prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in short story and poetry. All entries are due by 3:00, Friday, March 24th.

Let the Decatur Cheerleaders Egg your House! You can surprise your neighbors or friends with some easter fun! The Decatur Cheerleaders will deliver candy filled eggs to your house! You can buy 25 eggs for $20 or 60 eggs for $45. You can choose to have your eggs delivered on your porch or scattered in the yard! The deadline to order is March 31. Please see Ms. Johnson in room C-129 if you have any questions. The Eggs will be delivered on April 7th!

Want to work in a castle? The Castle in the Sand Hotel, and Coconuts Bar and Grill, are having a Job Fair this Saturday from 11am until 2pm. Front Desk Attendants, Pool Lifeguards, Housekeeping, Cooks, Servers, and Food Running positions are available. For more information see Mr. vonRigler in the library.
