Lunch for today includes: Mickey’s Cheese Pizza, Cheeseburger, Oven Baked Crinkle Fries, Green Peas, Diced Pears, Fresh Fruit, and Milk.

This is a friendly reminder that course selections are due TODAY. Please enter your selections into Schoology and turn ALL Worcester Tech forms in to the guidance office.

Attention Seniors: You have three big dates coming up – Please make sure that you mark your calendars! First up is the Senior Class Meeting on Monday, March 20th at 10:15 AM and 1:15 PM. Second up is the Senior Panoramic Picture on Wednesday, March 22nd at 8AM in the gymnasium.Third item is the Permission slip and money for the Senior Class Trip to Hershey Park is due on Friday, March 24th.

Save the date class of 2023! Lifetouch will be at school next Wednesday, March 22nd to capture the senior panoramic shortly after 8:00 a.m. in the gym. A few morning tech buses will be held so don’t miss out on this tradition, be here by 8:00 am on March 22nd. See Mr. Thompson with any questions.

Memories are made when your family and friends can watch you perform, so join the Decatur Colorguard! We are in need of members, no try outs necessary! If you have already submitted your course selections, you can send your School Counselor an e-mail or just stop by guidance. Sign up today to be a member of the SDHS Marching Band and Colorguard!

Attention all students: Registration for the spring session of the After School Academy is now open. Be sure to check out all course offerings. In order to participate, you must register, even if you have participated in the past. Use the QR code printed on the posters posted throughout the building or visit the After School Academy page on the school website. See Mrs. Berquist if you have questions.

Wanted! National English Honor Society members! Do you love English? Do you like organizing and participating in SDHS community service events? National ENGLISH Honor Society may be for you! Applications for membership in NEHS are now available from any English teacher or use the QR code on signs around the school. All applications must be completed and handed in by March 24th by 3 pm.

NEHS is sponsoring the 10th annual Peggy Hevel Memorial Writing Competition. Entry forms are available at the media center or from any English teacher. CASH prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in short story and poetry. All entries are due by 3:00, Friday, March 24th.

The pet food drive, sponsored by K.A.A.A.T. club is in full swing! 5th period classes are in competition to see who can bring the most pet food by next Thursday, March 23rd. Please bring in dry cat, dog, and rabbit food to your 5th period class. All food will be donated to Kenille’s Cupboard, Worcester County Humane Society, and Eastern Shore Rabbit Rescue. The 5th period class that collects the most canned food will receive a pizza party!

Let the Decatur Cheerleaders Egg your House! You can surprise your neighbors or friends with some easter fun! The Decatur Cheerleaders will deliver candy filled eggs to your house! You can buy 25 eggs for $20 or 60 eggs for $45. You can choose to have your eggs delivered on your porch or scattered in the yard! The deadline to order is March 31. Please see Ms. Johnson in room C-129 if you have any questions. The Eggs will be delivered on April 7th!

The Castle in the Sand Hotel, and Coconuts Bar and Grill, are having a Job Fair this Saturday from 11am until 2pm. Front Desk Attendants, Pool Lifeguards, Housekeeping, Cooks, Servers, and Food Running positions are available. For more information see Mr. vonRigler in the library.

Decatur Theatre invites you to its Annual March Production. The Man Who Came to Dinner, a comedy in three acts by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman, will be running performances TONIGHT at 7:00 pm, and TOMORROW at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm in the auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased at the door or online at decaturtheatre.com. If there are any questions touch base with Mr. Cater in the Black Box Theatre.
