Today Celebrates: National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day and Smoke and Mirrors Day!
Lunch for today includes: Mozzarella Sticks with Marinara Sauce, BBQ Pork Sandwich, Vegetarian Baked Beans, Steamed Green Beans, Fresh Fruit, and Milk.
Class of 2023! DNN will be collecting baby photos for the graduation video from now until May 19th. Please submit ONE baby photo to [email protected] between now and May 19th. Make sure you include your first AND last name in the subject line. Spend your upcoming spring break looking for those adorable infant and toddler photos and email them in! If you have a hard copy of a photo, you can bring it in to Mr. Thompson to be scanned and returned, just make sure your full name is written on the back of the photo. See Mr. Thompson with any questions.
Additionally, the Seahawk yearbook will collect senior quotes beginning on Wednesday, April 12th until Friday, April 21st. NO quotes will be accepted before the 12th OR after the 21st. ALL quotes must be submitted through the Microsoft form that will be posted on the DNN Senior News course on Schoology.
Lastly seniors, senior superlative voting will take place the first week of May, from Monday, May 1st until Friday, May 5th. Votes will be collected using a Microsoft form that will also be posted in the DNN Senior News course on Schoology. More information on senior superlatives will be shared at a later date.
Hey first semester orchestra students. We’ve got district festival tomorrow! There will be a practice right after school today, Wednesday, March 29th in Mr. Foell’s room starting at 3. The adjudication will be all day on Thursday at WIHI, so be in the orchestra room 1st period. Again, that’s orchestra practice TODAY, after school from 3 until 4:15. See You then!
This is a friendly reminder that all Presidential Service Awards tracking forms are due to Mrs. Chetelat by April 24 at 3:00 pm. No late forms will be accepted. No exceptions!
Let the Decatur Cheerleaders Egg your House! You can buy 25 eggs for $20 or 60 eggs for $45. You can choose to have your eggs delivered on your porch or scattered in the yard! The deadline to order is this Friday, March 31. Please see Ms. Johnson in room C-129 if you have any questions. The Eggs will be delivered on April 7th!
There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting this Thursday and every Thursday until spring break beginning at 7:15 in Mr. Drahiem’s room, D-153. See Ms. Fluty or Mrs. Fenzel-Mergott if you have any questions. All are welcome!
For Sports:
Attention all volleyball, girls basketball, girls wrestling, and softball players. The team room inside of the girls locker room will be cleaned out and closed on Friday, March 31. Everything left in lockers will be taken to lost and found. Please clear out and clean your locker before this Friday.
Varsity men’s lacrosse defeated Worcester Prep 20-19 yesterday. The Leading scorers ere, Ashton March with 5 goals, Parker Mason with 3 goals, Luke Popelaski with 3 goals
and John Fohner with 3 goals. Next game is on Friday March 31 at 4 P.M. vs St. Peter & Paul High School at home.
The girl’s lacrosse team picked up their first win over Worcester Prep yesterday with a score of 14 to 7. Leading scorers were Audrey Mumford and Sadie Kauffman. Mia Kemp controlled the midfield with numerous ground balls and draw controls. They play their home opener at the PINK OUT game this Friday at 6pm.
