Today Celebrates: Dare Day and Flip a Coin Day!

Lunch for today includes: Teriyaki Chicken with Brown Rice, Sloppy Joe Sandwich, Vegetable Blend, Mandarin Oranges, Fresh Fruit, Roll, and Milk.

A reminder to all students who signed up to volunteer for OCES field day…the 2 field days are TODAY and TOMORROW. Please be sure to report to OCES on your designated date! If you cannot go, you need to call Mrs. Drocella at OCES to let her know ASAP as they already have you assigned at stations. Your first period teachers were given a reminder slip to give you with all of the details.

And a reminder to students who signed up to help with the first field day at BIS. It is this Friday, June 2. Reminder slips were given to your first period teachers to give to you. If you cannot go you need to call Mrs. Johnson at BIS to let her know. To those students who signed up for Friday, June 9, you will receive a reminder slip via your first period teacher this week.

Attention Juniors! The National English Honor Society is having a one week only Flash Membership Drive! It’s open to only juniors who may have missed the first membership drive earlier this semester! Deadline is 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6th. Ask any English teacher, Mrs. Terlizzi, or Mr. Thompson for an application. NEHS Flash Membership Drive, now taking place!

Attention Students!! Last chance to join next year’s Color Guard! Ms. Johnson is the new instructor. If you are interested in parades and Friday night football with Ms. Johnson, come to the guidance office so we can add it to your schedule for next year. You don’t want to miss out! Join today, no try-outs needed.

Books are 95 dollars each and we are limited in copies available so DO NOT delay, order today!, order before it’s too late!

Spinebreakers! This is a friendly reminder that our next gathering will take place on Monday, June 5th. We will discuss the remaining pages of the novel “The Silent Patient”.

The last Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting will be Thursday, June 8th at 7:15 am in Mr. Drahiem’s room, D151. All are welcome. See Mrs. Fenzel-Mergott or Mrs. Kolluri if you have any questions.

For Sports:

Interested in becoming a Decatur cheerleader? Sign up for the Cheer Clinic on June 10th beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Learn and work on stunting, tumbling, jumps, cheer, and dance! The clinic is open for any current and future Seahawk cheerleader aged 5 to 18. Registration is $30 for current Decatur students, and $45 for non-students. If you have any questions, see Coach Johnson in room C129.
