Today Celebrates: National Cranberry Day, National Stuffing Day, Pumpkin Pie Day, World Television Day, and World Hello Day!

Lunch for today includes: Mickey’s Cheese Pizza, Popcorn Chicken with Roll, Oven Baked Crinkle Fries, Steamed Corn, Fresh Fruit, Applesauce Cup, and Milk.

Decatur Nation! Did you wear your pajamas today?! If so, teachers and staff should make their donation to Mary Candeloro in D149. All students can make their donation during all lunch shifts! Participants must donate in order to wear pajamas, the “official uniform of childhood cancer”. This year, Mu Alpha Theta is hosting PJammin in Honor of our very own Brian Herbert, a current Decatur Junior, who is currently battling cancer. Mu Alpha Theta will be donating all funds raised TODAY to the American Childhood Cancer Organization.

Attention After School Academy Participants – this is a friendly reminder that there will be NO after school academy programs this week. Again, no after school programs today.

Students and Staff, this is a friendly reminder that Lifetouch will be at school next Tuesday, November 28th to capture picture retakes for any student and staff member who missed pictures on October 30th. Pictures will take place down the front hallway, Broadway, and students will be called down for pictures. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Thompson.

Who will be named Decatur’s Teacher of the Year for the 2023-24 school year? Visit our schools website, sdhs.worcesterk12.org to nominate! Nominations are now open and will remain open until December 1st.

Attention Seniors: Salisbury University will be here on Thursday, November 30th. They will start by providing general college information in the cafeteria. Then, meet with students individually to conduct interviews for On-Site admissions. If you would like to be considered for On-Site Admissions at Salisbury University, please stop by guidance and write your name on the list.

We have additional upcoming college visits you may not be aware of, so listen up! Wilmington University will visit at 1:15 TODAY, so check in to see what they offer before escaping into a turkey coma! Lastly, on Tuesday, November 28th, Virginia Commonwealth University will visit at 10:00 am. Continue to check the list posted outside guidance for all upcoming college visits.

As the Holiday season takes hold this year, be sure to hold on to those memories! Add the 2024 Seahawk Yearbook to your holiday shopping list this year. Unified Sports is a powerful instrument of change that impacts athletes of all ranges. Through a shared team training and competition experience, Unified Sports builds bridges to connect athletes in a meaningful way. Anyone interested in joining our Unified Strength and Conditioning team this winter, please contact Ms. Bone or Ms. Owens by November 21st. Space is limited.

Please be advised, the Girls and Boys Senior Bayside All-Star Soccer games scheduled for this evening have been postponed until next Monday, November 27th due to inclement weather.

At 6:30 PM Varsity Football tackles Milford Mill Academy at home in the State Semifinals – Remember, tickets are 8 dollars each and must be purchased online at GoFan.
