Seniors! If you missed senior portraits this summer, Lifetouch will be back in school in November for two make-up sessions. All students who missed pictures will automatically be scheduled for a time slot on one of the two days. Appointment times and more information will be provided at a later date.
Students! Distribution of the 2024 Seahawk yearbook will take place TODAY during all lunch shifts. Distribution is only for those students who have pre-purchased a yearbook. We will open sales for the limited supply of extra copies beginning on Monday, September 30th. Copies will be sold at a first come, first serve basis. See Mr. Thompson with any questions.

Are you interested in being a defense attorney, a prosecuting attorney, or a witness in a criminal case in a real courtroom with real attorneys? The Mock Trial team is holding an interest meeting for this year’s competitions in Ms. Malone’s room, room C-144B, on Monday, September 30th from 3:00 till 3:45.

Congratulations to the Varsity Golf team on their 8th win of the season with their victory over Parkside and Bennett with a team score of 160. We were led by Clayton McCabe’s 38, Brody Kendall’s 39, Sam Boger’s 40 and Brady Cunanne’s 42. Way to go team!
Congratulations to both the girls and boys cross country teams for their wins against Bennet, Parkside, WiHi, and Snow Hill. The girls team scored a low 19 points.
Scoring for the girls included Amber Marshall in 2nd, Avery Marshall in 3rd, Evie Eggers in 4th, Sophia James in 7th, and Ally Fernandez in 8th. Our top 3 runners also earned personal records coming in 1 second apart led by Amber Marshall with a time of 20:28. Way to go ladies.
The boys also scored an impressively low score of 21 points taking first place. Scoring for the boys included Braydon Bell in 1st, Trey Rill in 2nd, Quinn Martin in 4th, Carter Steffy in 5th, and Ethan Rhode in 9th. Keep it up guys.
Last night, JV and Varsity Volleyball team swept the Mardela Warriors with an amazing performance! They played with incredible teamwork, energy, and determination, bringing home the victory!
A special shoutout goes to Becca Kemp and Raegan Wagner on JV, and Hailey Lewis and Mariya Jackson on Varsity, for their standout performances last night. Both teams were on fire last night.
Be sure to congratulate the teams when you see them in the halls today and get ready to cheer them on at their next game tonight against Kent Island. Starting with tonight’s home game, the first 20 students with valid SDHS IDs will get in free! JV starts at 4:00 pm and Varsity starts at 5:00 pm. Come ready to cheer your fellow Seahawks on to another amazing victory.
