Also, PBIS would like to recognize Shonna Schulz as the Staff Member of the Month. Ms. Schulz is a welcome addition to our Decatur staff and we are so happy to have her here supporting our students and other faculty members. Decatur Nation! Underclass and Faculty Picture Day will take place TOMORROW during 1st and 2nd periods. Students will be called down to the auditorium for photos by grade and last name. ALL underclassmen and staff MUST have their photos taken for ID cards, Powerschool, and Yearbook, so make sure you come down when called. If you cannot make picture day, Lifetouch will be here again on Monday, November 25th for retakes.
Seniors! If you missed senior portraits this summer, Lifetouch will be back in school on November 4th and 14th for make-up sessions. Seniors who missed can now schedule an appointment time for the 4th, and we need to fill this date up before we can schedule for the 14th. You can schedule via the Prestige Portraits website, or call the Customer Service appointment line at 1-855-918-2930. Remember, all yearbook photos must be taken through Prestige Portraits. Attention 2023-24 Presidential Service Award recipients: There will be a brief meeting in the auditorium on Wednesday, October 16th at 9:45 am to discuss logistics for the awards ceremony on Thursday. Please make every effort to attend. If you cannot attend the meeting, please see Mrs. Thompson in Room A168 ASAP for some important information.
Are you looking for a boo-tiful way to scare your friends this Halloween? We’ve got just the thing! The Stephen Decatur Choirs are running a fundraiser selling Boo Grams! You can purchase these adorable little ghost treats to send to your friends and we’ll deliver it to them in class on Halloween! Boo Grams will be on sale October 21st to October 25th, during all lunch periods. So come on down and grab one for your favorite spooky friend!
Attention Students: If you are interested in taking a Dual enrollment class next semester online, at Wor-Wic or at S.U. You need to stop by guidance to pick up a registration packet. Packets will be due on November 1st. You must have at least a 2.75 GPA and must apply to Wor-Wic on their website. If you have questions please see your School Counselor in the Guidance office.

Looking for some service hours? Enjoy all things halloween and want to help NEHS prepare the school for the 3rd annual Indoor Trunk or Treat? Come to our Preparation Work Days in Mrs. Terlizzi’s room, B1072B TODAY and tomorrow, plus next Monday and Tuesday from 2:50 until 4:00. You must provide your own transportation home.
