Seniors! If you missed senior portraits this summer, Lifetouch will be back in school on November 4th and 14th for make-up sessions. Seniors who missed can now schedule an appointment time for the 4th, and we need to fill this date up before we can schedule for the 14th. You can purchase these adorable little ghost treats to send to your friends and we’ll deliver it to them in class on Halloween! Boo Grams will be on sale October 21st to October 25th, during all lunch periods. So come on down and grab one for your favorite spooky friend!
Attention Students: If you are interested in taking a Dual enrollment class next semester online, at Wor-Wic or at S.U. You need to stop by guidance to pick up a registration packet. Packets will be due on November 1st. You must have at least a 2.75 GPA and must apply to Wor-Wic on their website. If you have questions please see your School Counselor in the Guidance office.
Looking for some service hours? Enjoy all things halloween and want to help NEHS prepare the school for the 3rd annual Indoor Trunk or Treat? Come to our Preparation Work Days in Mrs. Terlizzi’s room, B1072B TODAY, as well as next Monday and Tuesday from 2:50 until 4:00. You must provide your own transportation home. There will be an open gym for basketball today. The open gym will run from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. You must leave the school and return 10 minutes before Open Gym. All are welcome and the fee is $2.00.

Congratulations to the JV boys’ soccer team who ended their season undefeated with an emphatic 5 to 1 win against Bennett. Goals were scored by Wyatt Scrimgeour, Aidan Buchheit, Johnny Crossett, and Brodie Williams! Great season boys!
Last night Decatur Volleyball had a tough rematch against Parkside. Our JV team started the night with an exciting 2 to 1 win. Chloe Jones was a standout at the net with 7 kills and 3 aces. With her at the net was Malasia Dennis with 2 kills and 3 blocks. Captain Kylee Funk led the back row with 8 digs, 2 aces and 2 kills. Great job ladies.
Varsity had one of the best matches of the season. After losing the first two games, they battled back to win the next two. It was a close fifth match and a heartbreaking lose for Decatur, but we are so proud of the heart, hard work, and teamwork from the entire team. Alice Bickel had 4 kills and 4 blocks. Kirby Bounds had 20 assists, 5 aces and 5 digs. Lila Johnston had 7 kills, 5 blocks and 6 digs. Zoe Hinkle was our standout of the game with 11 kills, 6 digs, and 3 aces. Good luck the ladies tonight as they take on Mardela.
