PSAT makeups will be held TOMORROW, Wednesday, October 28th at 8:00 AM in Mr. Pylypczuk’s and Mrs. Bova’s rooms. Attention Seniors: If you would like to be considered for On-Site Admissions with Salisbury University on November 15th, you must physically come into the guidance office and sign up on the list! Time slots are limited so we will go down the list of sign ups and take names in order. You must have at least a 2.8 GPA and have applied to S.U. no later than November 8th. Remember to be considered, you MUST come into the guidance office and sign up!

In response to the devastation caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, Stephen Decatur’s Rho Kappa Honor Society has put together a fundraiser. All donations will be given to the American Red Cross Organization, which is directly helping communities impacted. If you would like to contribute, please give cash or a check, made out to Stephen Decatur High School, to Mrs. Hathaway in room A269 this week.

Decatur Nation! TONIGHT… something wicked this way comes! The halls of Decatur will transform for the 3rd Annual One School, One Community Indoor Trunk or Treat! Beginning at 3:00 TODAY, students and staff will be working hard to prepare for the festivities, so please stay out of their way or you might just become a prop for the evening.

We are less than 3 weeks away from the start of winter sports. If you are interested in trying out for Boys’ Or Girls’ Basketball, please see Coach Johnson in room C164 to pick up important information regarding tryouts. You must sign up on Family ID and have an updated physical before you can try out.
A huge congratulations to our Unified Tennis team on their dominating win at districts yesterday, securing the only ticket to the state tournament in November. The team won 40 of 44 sets, with shut out performances from Blaine Coleman, Raymond Molnar, and Max Jacobs. Carson Green had a record breaking day, winning 16 of 17 sets.
Julia Molnar and Michael Jones battled through overtime, both coming up 1 and 1. Aidan Scott, Carma Jean Valdez, Brooklyn Torrey, and Brianna Wheler kept the momentum going with invigorating performances throughout the day. The state tournament is scheduled for November 12th at the University of Maryland. Congratulations Unified Tennis!
