This is a reminder that Dual Enrollment applications for the upcoming spring semester are due to the guidance office by NEXT Monday, November 11th. Decatur Nation! The After School Academy has returned but there are some changes this year so listen up. After School Academy will ONLY take place on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s with a limited number of programs being offered due to budget cuts. Check the list of offered programs on the school’s website. Students interested in participating MUST sign up through the school website. See Mrs. Berquist with any questions.
Students interested in joining Newspaper as part of the After School Academy, please note that we will begin meeting next Tuesday in the DNN studio and will meet every Tuesday and Thursday beginning next week. Speaking of yearbook, the drawing to win the 25, 50 dollar gift cards to K-Coast for those who purchased a yearbook before November 1st will take place today with the winners being announced on the morning announcements on Monday.

For Sports:
All students trying out for boys’ and girls’ wrestling must complete their family ID and have an updated sports physical by November 14th to participate. Information packets are available outside Coach August’s room, B1072A.
We are less than 2 weeks away from the start of winter sports. If you are interested in trying out for Boys’ Or Girls’ Basketball, please see Coach Johnson in Room C164 to pick up important information regarding tryouts. You must sign up on Family ID and have an updated physical before you can try out.
