Decatur Nation! Pajamas are the battle uniform of kids with cancer. Stuck in the hospital for long periods of time during treatment, these children live in their pajamas while fighting for their life. P-Jammin® is a way to raise awareness about childhood cancer and to help them feel less alone. Mu Alpha Theta would like to invite the Decatur community to join us in P-Jammin for Kids with Cancer on Tuesday, November 26th.
P-Jammin participants must donate in order to wear pajamas, the “official uniform of childhood cancer”. There will be small prizes for those that donate on Tuesday and any donation will be accepted! All students can make their donation during all lunch shifts! Teachers and Staff, please make your donation to Mary Candeloro in D149 Tuesday MORNING! Mu Alpha Theta will be donating all funds raised on November 26th to the American Childhood Cancer Organization.
Students and Staff! Lifetouch will be here this coming Monday, November 25th from 8:00 am until 12:00 p.m. for picture retakes. Students will be called down to the front hallway, Broadway, by grade and name. If you missed picture day in October, or need new photos taken, this is your last opportunity! Order forms are available in the main office. Teachers and staff, make sure you have your picture taken if you missed pictures, as Central Office has requested these photos for badges. See Mr. Thompson with questions.
Monday, November 25th will be the last day to bring in donations for Operation We Care. Please bring all items to Mrs. Thompson’s room, A168. Please see Mrs. Thompson or check Schoology for a shopping list. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
