Today Celebrates: Ugly Sweater Day and Go Caroling Day!
Lunch for today includes: Big Daddy’s Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza, Vegetarian Baked Beans, Seasoned Spiral Cut Fries, Applesauce, Fresh Fruit, and Milk.
Once again this year, DNN students created festive videos for the Holiday season. Working with a tight deadline, students adapted poems for the screen, reimagined classic holiday songs, and even put their own horror spin on an innocent act of children. Enjoy the show!

Students! Friendly reminder that Final exams will take place January 23 for periods 1 and 2 and January 24 for periods 4 and 5. Attendance for final exams IS MANDATORY. Failure to appear will result in a 0 for the exam. If a student cannot attend one or both final exam days, they must see their grade level administrator before that week!
You’ve heard of the Twelve Days of Christmas, but our students have been singing the Twelve Days Before Winter Break. Have you been singing or humming the tune also?

Santa Claus may be in some hot cocoa this year after reports of unfair reindeer practices have come to light. While Rudolph was oftentimes left out of the reindeer games, it seems Comet was always stuck in the stalls and bathrooms, labeled as the best cleaner.
The main office lost and found has MANY single AirPods and cases with one Pod. Please stop by if you’re missing parts to see if you can complete a set!
While we all love opening gifts this time of year, we must remember why we celebrate the various holidays with joyous cheer.

Confusion erupted on Dickens Lane this week as the ghosts of Christmas Present and Christmas Yet To Come appeared at the same time. After some research, it became clear that the Ghost of Christmas Past tampered with the future, as it had yet to learn from the past.
Once upon a school day, there was a candy cane cure. Hidden amongst the festive decorations on Christmas trees, curious children unable to resist the temptation, they took a lick of the candy cane. This was no ordinary candy cane however, as it brought unexpected adventures an a dash of holiday mischief.
