As we return to school from break, it is important to review our Standard Response Protocol we have in place. Remember the terms: Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter. Each one provides us with the standard response used to ensure the safety for us all.
Attention Spanish Honor Society inductees: We will have a rehearsal in the auditorium on Wednesday at 10:00 am and the induction fee is due to Señora Sawyer ASAP.
Attention all students: The winter session of the After School Academy begins on Tuesday, January 7th and continues, on Tuesdays and Thursdays only, through March 6th. All participants must register. There might be some exciting news developing with regards to The Hawk Newspaper, Decatur’s student run newspaper since 1954! Anyone interested in weighing in on the revamp of Decatur’s student press is invited and urged to join Newspaper after school on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s beginning next week. Due to the set-up, please excuse Boys and Girls Varsity Wrestlers and Managers for their 9:30 departure time, and please excuse Boys and Girls JV for their 11:30 departure time. Thank you.
