Calling all writers! The National English Honor Society is holding open submissions for the 12th Annual Peggy Hevel Memorial Writing Contest. Students are invited to submit original works for both the Short Story and Poetry categories. Submissions accepted from NOW until April 16th. Monetary prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners in each category. All submissions are to be submitted to Mrs. Terlizzi by 3:00 pm April 16th. See Mrs. Terlizzi, Mr. Thompson, or any english teacher for an submission form.
Seniors it’s time to get your scholarship applications done. April 1st is a big deadline for many scholarships. Go to Schoolinks and click on the Finance money bag icon. Then choose Scholarship Matching and District Posted. April 1 scholarships need to be turned into Guidance no later than Monday March 31 to be processed for on time delivery. Stop by the Guidance office if you need help!
