TODAY is the LAST DAY for you to input your course selection requests for next school year! You have until 4:00 to input your requests. If you do not make your selections, we will have to do it for you. All students signing up for a NEW program at Worcester Tech, you must fill out a form and turn it into guidance if you have not yet done so. As always, if you have questions please come to the guidance office.

Check out the list of programs offered, including several Tutorial and Service Programs as well as many Enrichment Programs. Sign up using the QR code on the flyers or through our school website. Attention Spanish Honor Society students: We will have a meeting on Tuesday, April 1st in Señora Sawyer’s room at 7:30 am. We will be discussing ways to log service hours and planning a Cinco de Mayo event.
Do you want financial independence from your family? Are you in need of a job for the summer to earn that independence? If so, make sure you attend the job fair on Wednesday, April 2nd from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm in the gym. Make sure you are dressed to impress and bring a resume, although a resume is not required. Calling all writers! The National English Honor Society is holding open submissions for the 12th Annual Peggy Hevel Memorial Writing Contest. Students are invited to submit original works for both the Short Story and Poetry categories. Submissions accepted from NOW until April 16th. Monetary prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners in each category. All submissions are to be turned in to Mrs. Terlizzi by 3:00 pm April 16th. See Mrs. Terlizzi, Mr. Thompson, or any english teacher for a submission form.
Seniors it’s time to get your scholarship applications done. April 1st is a big deadline for many scholarships. Go to Schoolinks and click on the Finance money bag icon. Then choose Scholarship Matching and District Posted. April 1 scholarships need to be turned into Guidance no later than NEXT Monday, March 31 to be processed for on time delivery. Stop by the Guidance office if you need help!

Decatur Nation! Wear pink and pack the stands as the Girls Lacrosse teams host Kent Island in their annual Lakelyn’s Legacy Pink Out game. The pink out game is in memory of people who have fought cancer and in honor of people fighting cancer. One hundred percent of the donations received at the game will be donated to A Cure Starts Now. JV plays at 4:00 pm and Varsity at 5:30 pm.
