With the return of Spring comes the return of Dragons! The Dungeons and Dragons club is meeting again starting Thursday after school in the library! There will be a Fellowship of Christian athletes meeting at 7:15 TOMORROW morning and every Thursday until spring break. We will meet in room D-151, Mr. Drahiem’s room. See Mrs. Fenzel-Mergott or Mr. Leitner if you have any questions. All are welcome, teachers included!

Maryland High School Rodeo competed in Harrington, Delaware for March Madness over the weekend. They competed with New Jersey and New York. Brooke Warren had a fast time of 16.225 and 16.247 in Barrels earning top 10. Angelle Ayer’s had a fast time of 16.339 and
Jayden Garton’s fast time was a 17.45 Brooke earned a 4th place finish in Pole Bending for Maryland with a 24.45 For goat tying, Brooke earned a 6th and 9th place finish for Maryland with times of 10.869 seconds and 13.233 seconds. The team competes this weekend in Virginia.
A big congratulations goes out to the girls and boys Decatur track teams for their blow out victories against all of the Wicomico County schools. The girls team earned 94.5 points over the second place team of Wicomico HS scoring 53.5 points. First place finishers for the girls events were Avery Weber in the 800m and 1600m runs and the 4×800 relay along with Amber Marshall, Ellie Cheynet, and Evie Eggers. Evie Eggers also won the 3200m run. Maliyah Manuel won the long jump and the 4x200m relay team along with Amaya Johnson, Saniyah Matthews, and Rayna Esquivel. Great job to all the other scorers who helped in the team win. Keep it up ladies.
The boys team earned 134 points over the second place team of James M Bennett scoring 60.5 points. 1st place finishers for the boys team were Collin Pennington in the 800m and 1600m runs and the 4x800m relay along with Xander Wakefield, Ethan Rhode, and Braydon Bell. Braydon Bell also won the 3200m run and the 4x400m relay team along with Ethan Cowder, Alex Ward, and Jackson Hurst. Eddie Quick took first place in the 110m high hurdles. Brian Chester won the 200m sprint and the 4x100m relay along with Kyle Mumford, Trybe Wise, and Turon Davis. Chester also won the 4x200m relay along with Kyle Mumford, Jordan Collins, and Trybe Wise. In field events Mason Lyons won the shot put and Solomon David won the trifecta of high jump, long jump, and triple jump. Great job to all the other scorers who helped the team dominate. Keep it up guys.
