Calling all writers! The National English Honor Society is holding open submissions for the 12th Annual Peggy Hevel Memorial Writing Contest. Students are invited to submit original works for both the Short Story and Poetry categories. Submissions accepted from NOW until April 16th. Monetary prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners in each category. All submissions are to be turned in to Mrs. Terlizzi by 3:00 pm April 16th. See Mrs. Terlizzi, Mr. Thompson, or any english teacher for a submission form.
For Sports:
Both the Varsity and JV Girl’s Lacrosse teams came home with victories against North Caroline last night. JV dominated their game, with an awesome team win of 15 to 1. Varsity played tough, focused, and together all over the field to beat the Bulldogs 12 to 9. Next up is WiHi.
