Hey Creative Writers! The National English Honor Society is still collecting submissions for the 12th Annual Peggy Hevel Memorial Writing Contest! First place winners in both the Short Story AND Poetry categories will each win one hundred dollars! Submissions accepted until April 16th, which is quickly coming up! All submissions are to be turned in to Mrs. Terlizzi by 3:00 pm April 16th. See Mrs. Terlizzi, Mr. Thompson, or any english teacher for a submission form.
There will be a Fellowship of Christian athletes meeting at 7:15 this Thursday and every Thursday until spring break. We will meet in room D-151, Mr. Drahiem’s room. See Mrs. Fenzel-Mergott or Mr. Leitner if you have any questions. All are welcome!
For Sports:
The Girls Varsity Lacrosse team took on WiHi on Friday and came home with a dominating 20 to 0 win. Goals were scored by 14 different players, with senior captain, Lily Carson, leading all scorers with a hat trick. Assists were dished out by 11 different players with McKenna DePalma leading the passers with 3 assists. The girls are home again on Wednesday as they take on Kent County.
