Attention Seniors! If you are attending Wor-Wic Community College in the Fall, please come to guidance to sign up to meet with an advisor. The Wor-Wic team will be here on Friday, May 2nd. You must physically come into the guidance office to sign up to meet with the registration team. This will save you the time of driving to Wor-Wic for the registration process. You MUST apply to Wor-Wic before May 2nd. We can help you with this step. See us in guidance!
Seniors! It is hard to believe but we are now preparing for iPad collection! Early collection available May 1st. If you need to purchase any missing items or have items that need to be fixed, don’t wait! Please stop in and see the IT department in the Media Center. Check out this graphic on schoology for what needs to be done before collection.
Also Seniors! It’s almost time to cast your vote on senior superlatives, to submit your senior quote for the yearbook, and to submit a baby photo for graduation! Information about all three of these items will be coming out soon, and you will have a limited time frame to vote on superlatives and submit you senior quote, so start thinking about them now! Stay tuned for important information from DNN in the next week or two regarding these senior items.
Decatur Nation! It’s time to support the Marching Seahawks in their Joe Corbi’s Fundraiser to help raise money for the instrumental program! The Joe Corbi’s fundraiser is an online site where you are able to order all types of foods such as pizza, calzones, cookies, cinnamon rolls, soft pretzels, and more! If you see any band, jazz, orchestra, or color guard students walking the hallways please ask them about the Joe Corbi’s Fundraiser. It was an exciting opening to yesterday’s Girl’s Lacrosse game as Unified athletes joined the team on the field for a special tribute for Autism awareness. Our Unified athletes cheered the girls on to a 18 to 2 victory against Kent County. Tara Fohner lead the attack with 4 goals, with Caitlin Shimko adding 3 more. Kennedy Kirby dominated on defense coming up with 5 groundballs. The girls take on Bennett this Friday.
