We hoped you enjoyed and participated in our schools Earth Week Activities! Try to conserve daily and we will see you at the clean up same time next year!
Seniors! You have one week remaining to cast your vote on senior superlatives and to submit your senior quote for the yearbook! Quote submission and voting for superlatives will remain open until Friday, May 2nd, after that time no additional quotes or votes will be accepted. Vote using the QR code OR URL posted on the flyers.
Baby photos for the graduation ceremony are also being accepted at this time! Each graduating senior is permitted ONE baby photo and photos must be emailed to [email protected]. Please include the student’s first and last name in the subject line. You have until Friday, May 23rd to email in a photo. If you have any questions about quotes, superlatives, or baby photos, please see Mr. Thompson.
Are you hungry? Then head to Ocean 13 in Ocean City TONIGHT between 3:00 and 9:00 to support the SDHS Marching Band. You don’t need to show a flier, just say that you’re supporting the band. 10 percent of your order will go to help the band represent the school and the state in Hawaii for the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade this December.
Join NEHS TOMORROW at Fractured Prune on 116th street in OC for a sweet dine and donate day! Come fill up on delicious donuts from 8 am until 12 noon and Fracture Prune will donate 20 percent of proceeds to NEHS for our various service projects!
Speaking of National English Honor Society, the 2025 Membership Drive for new members will take place beginning next Monday, April 28th with applications being accepted until Friday, May 9th! Beginning on Monday, check with any English Teacher, the media center, and the main office for an application to apply for the National English Honor Society. Have specific questions, see Mr. Thompson or Mrs. Terlizzi!
Attention All prom go-ers: Debt sign off sheet are now available in main office along with out of school guest forms. A debt sign off, for all SDHS students attending regardless of grade, or an out of school guest form, for those that do not attend SDHS, must be completed for all guests before tickets will be sold. Prom tickets will go on sale Monday morning at 7:30 in the Square. Tickets are $50 and include a dessert buffet. Tickets can with purchased with cash or check only. Much more information will follow through a Schoology message to all juniors and seniors. Be sure to take a quick read this weekend. See Mr. Greenwood in C-174.
