Attention All prom go-ers: **VO – PROM** Prom ticket sales will continue Monday through Thursday next week, before and after school. Tickets are $50 each which includes a dessert buffet. Tickets can be purchased with cash or check only. All students MUST complete a debt sign off sheet prior to purchasing tickets. Forms are available in the main office along with out of school guest forms. Out of school guest forms, for those that do not attend Decatur, must be completed for all guests before tickets will be sold. See Mr. Greenwood in room C-174 with questions.
Seniors! TODAY is the LAST DAY to submit your senior quote for the yearbook! The submission form will close at 11:59 tonight! So far, we have received 130 quotes, which means we need 84 more quotes in order for seniors to have quotes in the yearbook. Quotes will ONLY be accepted using the Microsoft Forms link or QR Code which is posted on bulletin boards around school and on the school’s social media accounts.
TODAY is also the LAST DAY to vote for Senior Superlatives with the form closing at 11:59 tonight. Senior Superlatives are a fun way to celebrate members of your class, whether it be awarding them the future pro-athlete, worst at parking, or even being the cutest couple that never was! We have 12 categories total and have received only 61 votes at this time, if we do not receive at least 150 votes, the yearbook will not feature superlatives.
Baby photos for the graduation ceremony are also being accepted! ** VO – BABY EMAIL** Each graduating senior is permitted ONE baby photo and photos must be emailed to [email protected]. Please include the student’s first and last name in the subject line. You have until Friday, May 23rd to email in a photo. If you have any questions about quotes, superlatives, or baby photos, please see Mr. Thompson.
There is one week left to apply for membership for The National English Honor Society. Applications accepted until 3:00 pm, Friday, May 9th! Check with any English Teacher, the media center, and the main office for an application to apply. All applications are due to Mr. Thompson by 3:00 pm the 9th. Have specific questions, see Mr. Thompson.
The Leo Club is excited to announce **VO- LEO CLUB** that at 5:30 TONIGHT, during the girls’ lacrosse senior night near the concession stand, we will be hosting a lemonade stand to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation in the fight against childhood cancer. By funding innovative research and supporting families, we can impact their lives! Come out to enjoy some refreshments and tasty snacks! Your donations and support would really make a difference!

Congratulations to the Varsity Softball team on their Bayside South win against Mardela yesterday! Way to go ladies!
Congratulations to the Girls Tennis team on clinching the Bayside South Championship yesterday with a 5 to 2 victory over Bennett. Ana Pena, Emily Ferguson, Emmie Weber and Anika Karli all had victories in the win. The girls have a 12 and 1 record with 1 match remaining this afternoon in Easton to close out the regular season. The girls will play in the Bayside Championship on Tuesday at Salisbury University. Good luck ladies!
