Decatur Nation! This week is Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week! Did you know that students who are feeling stressed, sad, or even thinking about suicide are very likely to tell a friend or teacher? If someone shares with you that they are very sad, having a hard time and/or feel like they want to die, the most important thing you can do is take their feelings seriously, listen without judgment, and help them get to a trusted adult for more support. Remember, your mental health matters!
Applications for the National English Honor Society are due to Mr. Thompson by 3:00 pm TODAY! Have questions or concerns, see Mr. Thompson ASAP.
There is still time to pre-order your copy of the 2025 Seahawk yearbook! Copies are 110 dollars each and can be purchased online at yearbookforever.com. Yearbooks will be distributed in the fall, but don’t delay, order your copy today!
