Seniors: Friday is Senior iPad Collection Day. We will be accepting iPads from 8:30 am until 10:45 am and then again immediately after the Mandatory Senior Meeting tomorrow. Seniors! DNN is still collecting baby photos for the graduation ceremony! Each graduating senior is permitted ONE baby photo and photos must be emailed to [email protected]. Please include the student’s first and last name in the subject line. You will receive a reply email confirming your photo has been received. You have until Friday, May 23rd to email in a photo. Decatur Theatre would like to invite you to this year’s Annual Shakespeare Under the Stars, Love’s Labor’s Lost. Performances will be TONIGHT and Friday night at 7:00 pm, and Saturday, May 17th at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm in the Gladys C. Burbage Courtyard Theatre. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased at the door or online at decaturtheatre.com. Congratulations to following members of the Stephen Decatur boys and girls track team on qualifying for the state championship meet following their recent performance at the 3A East Regional Championships: Lotus Wise on placing first in both the women’s triple jump and women’s long jump, Amaya Johnson on placing 4th in the women’s high jump, Solomon David on placing 4th in the men’s triple jump and 8th in the men’s 300 meter hurdles. Also congratulations to the men’s 4×800 meter relay team of Collin Pennington, Quinn Martin, Braydon Bell, and Xander Wakefield on finishing 8th. Congratulations to all on a great track season and best of luck to those competing next week at states.
A huge congratulations goes out to the Varsity Softball team on their impressive win over Easton last night in the region finals, and to the Boys Varsity Lacrosse team on their dominating win over Hereford in the State Quarterfinals!
