For Sports:
The Maryland High School Rodeo had finals over the weekend in Princess Anne. For pole bending, Brooke Warren placed 5th in the first performance with a time of 23.47. Jayden Garton had her personal best time with a 24.13 for the second performance placing her in 5th. Brooke placed 7th in the 3rd performance with a time of 24.13. The final score for the weekend, Brooke placed 7th on the aggregate scale and 6th place for the year for team Maryland.
For goat tying, Brooke had her personal best time of 9.40 placing her in 4th for the first performance, and 5th place in the second performance with a 10.85. She placed 7th on the 3rd performance. The overall weekend aggregate score placed Brooke in 6th. Brooke finished the year in 8th place for team Maryland.
For barrels, Jayden Garton placed 8th overall for the weekend. Angelle Ayres placed top 10 for performance 3. Brooke placed 9th overall for team Maryland for the year. Congratulations girls!
Congratulations to the Varsity Softball team on their win last night as they made school history and will play at UMD in the State Championships on Friday!
