Students: Homecoming out of school guest forms and debt slips are available in the main office. All students must complete a “I’m debtless” form to purchase tickets. Tickets are $15 ahead of time or $20 at the door. Tickets for the dance will go on sale October 6th through the 9th. Guest forms must be submitted, along with a photo ID, by October 8th for all out-of-school guests prior to purchasing tickets. Stay tuned for more details!
Seniors! Appointment slots for Senior Portrait Retakes are NOW OPEN! Prestige Portraits will be at school on November 12th and 13th to capture senior portraits for yearbook and cap and gown photos as well. All yearbook portraits MUST be taken through Lifetouch for the yearbook, and you only have two days of retakes. If you miss these days, you will have to report to the Lifetouch Studio in Hanover, Maryland, so do not delay, schedule today through schedule.prestigeportraits.com. See Mr. Thompson with questions.
Attention Junior and Seniors: Please do not forget to check Schoolinks daily for the college visitation schedule. Many great colleges and universities come right here to SDHS. Sign ups are easy and on schoolinks. Must sign up prior to the morning of the visit.
Attention Seniors: Please remember that every Tuesday and Thursday, Ms. Redden and Mrs. Riley will be in the library during 4th period to assist with college applications and to help answer questions. Come during your lunch or if your teacher gives you permission. Teachers don’t worry, we can have them back within 15 minutes! Please take advantage of this carved out time, just for you seniors!

Attention all Spanish students: Spanish tutoring will be offered on both Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Tuesdays, Senora Cassino will host Spanish help in Room D1. On Thursdays, Senora Sawyer will host Spanish help, along with Spanish Honor Society members, in Room D6. Any student seeking help should be registered with the After School Academy. For Sports:
There will be an open gym TODAY for all that are interested in basketball. The open gym will run from 5:30 until 7:00 pm. You must leave the school and return 10 minutes before Open Gym. All are welcome, and the fee is $2.00. If you have any questions, see coach Johnson in room B9.
Congratulations to the Boys Varsity soccer team on a hard fought 1 to 0 victory over WiHi. After a scoreless first half, Elijah Isett drew a foul in the penalty box. Elijah buried the resulting penalty kick in the back of the net to give the Seahawks the lone goal of the evening. Jonah Devito and Adrian Jasinski-Elbaz combined for a shutout in the goal with 5 saves. The win moves the boys to 6 and 0 on the season. The next game is Monday night versus Queen Annes. JV at 3:30 and Varsity at 5. See you there.
