Seniors! Jostens will be at school TODAY, during all lunches to deliver graduation announcements. If you ordered announcements, please stop by the Jostens table at lunch to pick them up. Caps and gowns will be delivered at a later date in May.
If you have a balance due, Jostens will be accepting cash, check, or money orders on delivery day. Cap and gown orders will also be accepted on that date if you have not ordered yet.
Seniors! It is scholarships crunch time! There are 5 scholarships due this week: Women’s Club of Ocean Pines and Son’s and Daughters of Italy is due TODAY, Maryland Farm Bureau, Calvin B. Taylor Memorial, and Delmarva Chicken Association are all due on Friday. Next week is the big deadline; Community Foundation Scholarships and many others are due on Wednesday, April 1. Don’t wait until the last minute! Stop by Guidance if you need help.

Decatur Theatre would like to invite you to this year’s March Production, Clue, adapted from the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn, and written by Sandy Rustin. Performances will be Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27th at 7:00 pm, and Saturday March 28th at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm in the SDHS Auditorium. Evening tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, with tickets for the matinee at $10 and $5! Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at decaturtheatre.com. If there are any questions about tickets, touch base with Mr. Cater in the Black Box Theatre. We look forward to seeing you there!

Congratulations to the Stephen Decatur girls and boys track and field teams for winning their first home meet against WiHi, Bennett, Parkside, and Pocomoke high schools.
Amaya Johnson was named female MVP for the meet with first place finishes in the high jump and long jump and placing 3rd in the 100m hurdles. Others scorers for the girls team were Lotus Wise 1st and Jalaya Brittingham 4th in the 100m dash, Rayna Esquival 3rd in the 300m hurdles and 4th in the 100m hurdles, Sophia Macrides 5th in the 300m hurdles, Jess Hernaez 1st and Ellie Cheynet 4th in the 400m run, Lily Norman 1st and Evelyn Eade 4th in the 800m run, and Cailyn Reed 4th in the 3200m run. Scoring in the relays were the 4×800 team with 1st place, the 4×400 team in 3rd, the 4×200 team in 2nd, and the 4×100 team taking 1st place. In field events for the girls Lotus Wise scored 1st in the triple jump, Jordan Carrigan 2nd in the long jump, Reese Rogerson 1st and Nickayla See 5th in the discus.
Scoring for the boys team were Keyandre Douglas with 4th and Brian Chester 5th in the 100m dash, Geo Koerner 4th in the 110m high hurdles and 3rd in the 300m hurdles, Xander Wakefield 1st and Jackson Hurst 3rd in the 400m run, Collin Pennington 1st and Ethan Rhode 2nd in the 800m run, Carter Steffy 2nd, Ethan Rhode 3rd, and Alex Pouchan 4th in the 1600m run, and Alex Pouchan 2nd , Carter Steffy 3rd and Andrew Corbin 5th in the 3200m run. Scoring in the relays were the 4×400 and 4×800 teams in 1st and the 4×200 and 4×100 in 2nd. In field events for the boys, placing 3rd were RJ Bowen in shot put and Liam O’Brien in triple jump, and Ethan Cronin placed 5th in long jump.
Congratulation again to both teams for a great start to the season and best of luck to you on Friday against 25 teams at the Cambridge Invitational meet.
