It’s Green Thumb Thursday! Native plants are important for keeping a sustainable ecosystem. They provide shelter and food for local wildlife at exactly the right time each season. Native plants are adapted to local climate and soil conditions, require less water, fertilizer, and pesticides, and can even prevent erosion. See the Surfrider Club and our friend from Assateague Coastal Trust at all lunch shifts for native plants seeds that you can take home and plant!
