Today Celebrates: Advent, National Roof Over Your Head Day, and Giving Tuesday!

Lunch for today includes: Cheese Pizza, Shrimp Poppers with Mac and Cheese, Tomato and Cucumber Salad, Chilled Strawberry Cups, and Milk

Connections members and Service Learning students, the Connections annual Pajama Drive, collecting new children’s pajamas for the families of Diakonia for the holidays will take place from now until this Friday, December 6. For every pair of Pajamas donated, a scholastic book will also be given to a child. Please drop off any Pajamas in Mrs. Chetelat’s room, A175.

Just a friendly reminder that the Creative Writing Cafe will NOT meet this week. We will once again meet next Thursday, December 12th. Please see Mr. Thompson with any questions.

Decatur Nation! Continue to bring in those old markers for the Crayola ColorCycle recycling program. No matter the brand or kind, drop them in the recycle bin in the main office. Program runs until December 18. Again, recycle all plastic markers in the main office until December 18th.

The Holiday Season is often a time of giving back, but the Key Club partakes in an unconventional way of giving back twice a year. (Roll Blood Drive Video 3:29) The Blood Bank of Delmarva will once again be here in March for the second Blood Drive this year. Be sure to sign up early!

Mark your calendars Decatur! The Relay For Life Team will once again be selling Candy Cane Grams from December 11th until the 18th! Purchase a candy cane for your friends, significant other, teachers, and even for yourself! Purchase yours during any lunch shift, and delivery will be on Thursday, December 19th during 5th period! It’s that time of year again Decatur! The 2nd Annual Door Decorating Contest is underway. This is a 4th period competition and the winning door will be rewarded with holiday cookies on December 20th! Begin thinking and working with your fourth period teacher so that we can deck the halls for the Holidays!
