Owen McAdams, Staff Writer
Senior Owen McAdams is a seasoned veteran of The Hawk, returning to the paper for his third time. He took Introduction to Publications in his Sophomore year and has been a staff writer for the paper ever since.
McAdams has a deep appreciation for music, particularly with old rock and metal. He also plays guitar, citing David Gilmour, Eddie Van Halen, and Jimmy Page as inspirations. He looks forward to exploring more about music and other arts in future articles.
McAdams loves writing, as it has always been his strong suit in school. He initially joined The Hawk to challenge himself to write in new styles, which might have been alien to him at the time. Owen strives to continue pushing himself to become a better writer. He is completing service hours to receive the Presidential Service award.
Being a member of the Investment Club, McAdams is heavily interested in the Stock Market and day trading. He finds economics fascinating and wishes to study them in the future. He hopes to go to a four-year university to pursue a degree in Business.
