Today Celebrates: Administrative Professionals Day and Pig in a Blanket Day!

Lunch for today includes: BBQ Pork Sandwich, Mini Pepperoni and Cheese Calzones or Mini Cheese Calzones, Steamed Broccoli, Green Peas, Fresh Fruit, Diced Peaches, and Milk.

Today marks the third day in our Earth Week celebration, “Waste Free Wednesday”. Hopefully everybody packed their lunches in reusable containers! Did you know that single-use plastic is produced from fossil fuels and that extracting and creating these plastics emits vast amounts of greenhouse gases? It is estimated that just the extraction of these fossil fuels and their transportation to plastic factories emits 1.5 to 12.5 million metric tons of greenhouse gases per year. Let’s all try to cut back on using single use plastic products this year!
