Why are 10 football players getting fitted for tutus on stage with the Show Choir? Why is the Concert Choir painting their arms green? Find out the answers to these questions and more tonight at 6 PM in the auditorium as our Show and Concert Choirs present their Winter Concert. If that’s not enough, come because Mr. Gross’ children are really cute.

The National English Honor Society will be selling Candy Cane Grams all this week for 2 dollars each during all lunch shifts! Send one to your friend, your teacher, or even yourself! Don’t be a mean girl, send a candy cane, it’s so fetch!

Decatur Film Society members, we will meet today in the DNN studio to discuss the hot mess of the film Sharktopus vs Whalewolf, and vote for our holiday film for next week. Remember, there is no after school transportation available, so please plan accordingly.

Registration for the winter session of the After School Academy is now available. Students can sign-up using the QR code posted throughout the building or by completing the form located on the After School Academy page on our school website.

Spinebreakers! The next agreed upon checkpoint on our journey through the book, Firekeeper’s Daughter, will stop on page 390, chapter 43 for Monday’s discussion. Also, students can vote on the next book choice NOW by seeing Mr. Thompson, Mrs. Terlizzi, or the Media Center specialists to scan the QR code to suggest a dystopian novel. Our next book will be available after the holiday break on January 2nd.

Calling all writers! The Ocean City – Berlin Optimist Club is encouraging area students to complete an essay as part of the Optimist International Essay Contest. This year’s official topic is “Who is an Everyday Hero that Brings Out the Optimism in You?” Check the SDHS Schoology page or see any English teacher or Ms. Tindley in guidance for more information.
