Today Celebrates: National Freedom Day, No Politics Day, and Spunky Old Broads Day!

Lunch for today includes: Mini Cheese Calzones with Marinara Sauce, Popcorn Chicken with Roll, Steamed Carrots, Green Peas, Mixed Fruit, and Milk.

Members of Spinebreakers! We will be reading to page 205 in the novel Feed by M.T. Anderson. Therefore, we will be discussing up to part four in the novel during our gathering next Monday. Please see Mr. Thompson with any questions.

Interested in the medical field? Want to learn more about the different careers in medicine and how to get there? Then consider attending Math Club’s Medical Field speaking event on Thursday, February 9th! Guests include Dr. Gerard Gioia, who is the Division Chief of Neuropsychology at Children’s National Hospital and the Principal Investigator of many CDC-funded research studies on pediatric concussions. Congrats to the JV Girls Basketball Team on their 56 to 3 win over Pocomoke! The team was led by Brooke Berquist’s 12 points, Lotus Wise’s 10 points, and Liz Parcels and Ariana Elliot with 8 points each.

Congratulations to the Varsity Women’s Basketball team for a senior night win against Pocomoke 70 to 8. The Seahawk offense was led by senior captain Mayah Garner with 20 points while senior captain Shelby Rosemond and sophomore Allison Swift each contributed 9 points. Way to go Seahawks!
