Celebrate Agriculture from February 19 – 25, 2023 during National FFA Week! Did you know students from all 3 area high schools make up our local Worcester County FFA Chapter? Most FFA members are not from a farming background but support producing food, fiber, and fuels. Students enrolled in the agriculture science program at Worcester Technical High School with Ms. Flores make up the county FFA Chapter.

Students make a difference in bringing awareness of land conservation practices our producers/farmers use to protect the rural lifestyle for future generations! In honor of this week, today is Kick Up Your Heals Day! Wear your favorite pair of cowboy boots to show how hard working our farmers and those that take care of animals are.

The Leo Club would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Compliment Card fundraiser! We were able to raise close to 200 dollars, which will go towards a donation to the Leader Dog Foundation for training guide dogs for the blind. A Lunch, you raised over half of our total sales and will get to witness Mr. Hill get pied tomorrow. Way to go, guys! We thank all our administrators who were willing to put their faces on the line for charity, but a special thanks goes out to Mr. Hill who has graciously agreed to let Shiloh Carmack, our biggest contributor, carry out the pie festivities while DNN catches it all on film. Stay tuned!
