Today Celebrates: Tea for Two Tuesday, National Agriculture Day, and World Poetry Day!

Lunch for today includes: Meatloaf with Gravy, Popcorn Chicken with Roll, Whipped Potatoes, Steamed Brussel Sprouts, Diced Pears, Fresh Fruit, and Milk.

Attention all students: Registration for the spring session of the After School Academy is now open. Be sure to check out all course offerings. In order to participate, you must register, even if you have participated in the past. Use the QR code printed on the posters posted throughout the building or visit the After School Academy page on the school website. See Mrs. Berquist if you have questions.

This Friday is a busy day for deadlines! Friday, March 24th is approaching quickly. All applications for NEHS membership are due no later than Friday, March 24th at 3 pm. No exceptions will be made – PLAN AHEAD if you are truly a National English Honor Society Student.

Fellow Spinebreakers, we are reading to chapter 20 in our current book “The Nightingale”. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Terlizzi, Mr. Thompson, or Mr. vonRigler before this upcoming Monday!

Are you entering the Peggy Hevel Writing Competiton? If you are, your short story or poem is due no later than March 24th at 3:00 pm. You can win cash prizes, but the entry must be made this week! Good luck writers!

There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting this Thursday and every Thursday until spring break beginning at 7:15 in Mr. Drahiem’s room, D-153. See Ms. Fluty or Mrs. Fenzel-Mergott if you have any questions. All are welcome!

The pet food drive, sponsored by K.A.A.A.T. club is in full swing! 5th period classes are in competition to see who can bring the most pet food by this Thursday, March 23rd. Please bring in dry cat, dog, and rabbit food to your 5th period class. All food will be donated to Kenille’s Cupboard, Worcester County Humane Society, and Eastern Shore Rabbit Rescue. The 5th period class that collects the most canned food will receive a pizza party!

Let the Decatur Cheerleaders Egg your House! You can surprise your neighbors or friends with some easter fun! The Decatur Cheerleaders will deliver candy filled eggs to your house! You can buy 25 eggs for $20 or 60 eggs for $45. You can choose to have your eggs delivered on your porch or scattered in the yard! The deadline to order is March 31. Please see Ms. Johnson in room C-129 if you have any questions. The Eggs will be delivered on April 7th!
